Precision Metal Stamping

Precision metal stamping, also referred to as pressing, is a cold-forming manufacturing process used to transform flat sheet metal into specific shapes. Using a tool and die surface, it's possible to create highly complex parts through a variety of metal forming techniques, including blanking, coining, embossing, punching, flanging, and bending.

The process allows for a high degree of design flexibility, meaning it's possible to define intricate features with unique configurations while maintaining high tolerances.

Most manufacturing methods cannot compete with the high degree of tolerance made possible by precision stamping.

Given the demand for large quantities of complex parts, precision metal stamping is one of the most cost-friendly metal forming processes available—due to its high volume capabilities.

The Beltim Precision Metal Stamping Process

At Beltim, we operate a wider breadth of custom metal stamping processes that enable us to produce better, more consistent, and cost-effective parts. Every aspect of the production process is carried out in-house, from deep draw stamping, transfer die stamping, and fine-blanking to four-slide stamping. Our stamping services are suitable for both short and long production runs and are designed to save you time and money.

Our stamping presses are CNC-controlled, allowing for a high degree of precision and repeatability for each stamped component. We have various die-tooling machines in-house, including progressive, forming, and carbide tooling – we have the means to satisfy all your stamping needs.

Our expertly-trained engineers have the expertise to design complex 3D tooling via CAD/CAM technology which ensures that each punch and bend maintains proper design clearance. Beltim guarantees optimal part quality no matter the complexity of design geometry.
